Hello and welcome! The Olakino Life is a holistic health space created to educate, inspire, and empower you to reach your highest state of wellbeing.
The word “Olakino” comes from Hawaiian roots — “Ola” meaning life and health, and “Kino” meaning body — together representing “the health and vitality of the body.”
I’m Taylor, and I’m deeply passionate about holistic nutrition, natural healing, and the simple joy of feeling good from the inside out. Life is far too short and sweet to feel anything less than your most vibrant, aligned self.
In today’s world, our health is constantly challenged by toxins, stress, and highly processed foods — yet what I’ve learned through my own healing journey is that our bodies are designed to return to balance. They want to heal; they just need the right tools and nourishment to do so.
Through mindful nutrition, lifestyle shifts, and supportive daily habits, it’s possible to restore balance and feel truly well again. I’ve experienced both sides of that journey, the struggle and the renewal, and there’s truly no better feeling than coming home to your healthiest self.
This is what inspired me to dedicate my path to functional medicine and holistic nutrition. As a current Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, I’m excited to help others feel empowered, resilient, and radiant in their own bodies.

Mind Body Connection
To heal the body, you have to heal the mind & vice versa. To achieve optimal health is not to attain physical health alone, but to find that the mind and body are both balanced and thriving.
Nutrition
Nutrition is the number one factor affecting our physical and mental wellbeing. Through eliminating processed foods and focusing on nutrient dense superfoods, optimal health is more than attainable.
Movement
Focusing on nutrition alone is not enough to reach optimal health: including different forms of movement into our everyday lives is a significant aspect in reaching both physical and mental fitness, as well as resilience.
Living In Alignment
Every person is designed intricately, with different passions, needs, desires & ways in which we are fulfilled. Finding true health often comes the most naturally to our bodies when our mind is in a state of knowing we are following our true intuition and path.
